Are seeking a professional Digital and Social Media Marketing Officer to join our team in Welshpool Mid Wales (starting May 2025)
(Full Time 37 hours per week with 1.30pm finish on a Friday. Occasional out-of-hours work required)
Salary – £24,00.00 per annum
About Us:
Cambrian Training Company (CTC) has recently become an employee-owned Company where the employees have a stake in the success of the business. We are based in Welshpool and we offer work-based learning apprenticeships across Wales. CTC also operate two other businesses: Trailhead Fine Foods and The Trewythen self-catering accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage social media campaigns and grow audience engagement across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and potentially set up a new CTC account on TikTok) using Adobe tools.
- Update website content (WordPress) to improve engagement and SEO.
- Create and distribute a quarterly e-newsletter via Mailchimp.
- Design email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp and analyse their performance.
- Maintain consistent branding across digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Monitor digital marketing trends, campaign results, and competitor activities.
- Support business development with marketing strategies to build relationships and drive leads.
- Assist with organising and the marketing comms for CTC Group’s marketing events, including graduations, awards, fairs, and competitions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in digital marketing and social media marketing, SEO and analytics.
- Proficient with all social media platforms and tools and software including Later Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, WordPress, Mailchimp and Adobe software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, creative thinking and ideally design skills.
- Ability to analyse digital data and optimize strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving license and flexibility for travel/events sometimes out of hours and overnight.
- Welsh language skills are a plus.
- Marketing-related qualifications are advantageous.
