Apprentice in Patisserie

Daily Duties
- Complete opening and closing checks
- Maintain workplace food safety standards in operations
- Prepare ingredients and assemble elements of patisseries
- Clean down as well as cleaning stations during the day
- Assembling elements of patisseries
- Pack orders for dispatch
Apprentice desirable personal qualities:
A thirst for learning and improvement is highly commended at Pâtisserie Verte. The team enjoy working with individuals who are invested in their learning and development, and the team is experienced at working with individuals who have no previous experience, providing training that is tailored for the individual.
Teamwork is important at Pâtisserie Verte and, due to the nature of patisserie and its delicate presentation, attention to detail is necessary to ensure continued standards for these premium products. An appreciation of the company’s Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures is essential to ensure the safety of the individual, team and the public.

Pay: Pay will be reviewed quarterly, based on performance, and dedication and development in the role will be rewarded.
Apprenticeship rates. £13312.00 – £23795.20
Hours:
Mon-Fri, 08.00-16.30 (including 30 minute unpaid lunch break). Weekends and evenings off, two weeks off at Christmas and Bank holidays off. .
Interview arrangements:
Trial shift and interview at company’s address in Cardiff.
