Calling Chefs and Employers.
People 1st in partnership with Cambrian Training are developing and piloting a new work based learning programme for experienced Chefs. 19 Chefs from across Wales have already signed up to take part in this innovative learning programme.
To date Chefs have undertaken a Butchery Workshop and a Fish Workshop. In November we will be offering a Craft Skills Master class, in January a Pastry Master class and in February a Sustainability module delivered by staff from the River Cottage.
Our aim to increase the craft skills of chefs in your business at the same time as creating an awareness of efficiency and profitability, to make a real difference to your bottom line. Assessment of learning is a combination of assignments and work place visits. This is being offered to you at no cost.
